“Veterinary X-ray CT” – The Ultimate Assistant for Animal Healthcare

The Veterinary X-ray CT, fully imported from Japan, offers a unique competitive advantage by combining both Computed Tomography (CT) scanning and 2D X-ray functionality in a single system. This allows veterinarians and radiologists to choose the most suitable imaging mode according to the patient’s condition or suspected pathology, enabling rapid and precise diagnostic assessment to guide treatment.

The device features an internal space of approximately 360 mm (W) × 1,000 mm (D) × 300 mm (H), with a maximum imaging range of φ240 × D127–176 mm, making it suitable for small to medium-sized animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits, and turtles.

RF Co., Ltd. has leveraged its extensive experience in medical imaging—where both image interpretation speed and accuracy are critical—into the development of this veterinary system. Under standard scanning conditions, the CT mode requires only 16 seconds for scanning, with images ready for review in as fast as 120 seconds. Users can manipulate the images at any angle or orientation, performing perspective views and cross-sectional cuts to assess the internal condition of the animal.

In 2D X-ray mode, imaging takes only 0.3 seconds, with images ready in as fast as 10 seconds. The system also provides “two shooting orientations—vertical and horizontal—” to accommodate various diagnostic needs.

Breaking Conventional Pricing – Japanese-Made “Veterinary X-ray CT Scanner”

The “Veterinary X-ray CT Scanner” is ideal for a wide range of animal medical applications, including head CT scans, periodontal disease treatment, chest X-ray CT scans, abdominal X-ray CT scans, bone fracture treatment, and more. It provides veterinarians and radiologists with a fast, convenient, and reliable diagnostic environment.

Although the Slide CT-V is made in Japan, it comes at a surprisingly “Katayaburi” (unconventional) price. In Japanese, “型破り (Katayaburi)” means breaking free from conventional norms and established practices. This product fully embodies that concept, offering veterinary CT scanning capabilities at half the typical market price to meet the needs of small and medium-sized animal hospitals and clinics. By making advanced CT imaging more accessible, it helps enhance the quality of animal healthcare without placing a financial burden on smaller practices.
