KREUZ FF Series Deburring holder for machine tools

KREUZ FF Series Deburring holder for machine tools

The FF series holder, designed and developed by Japan’s KREUZ Co., Ltd., enables robots (robotic arms) or machine tools to perform deburring and chamfering processes by cutter tools or brushes against the workpiece in a manner similar to a human hand.

[Product introduction]

  • It is used by attaching it to robots, machine tools, etc.

The FF series holder, designed by Japan’s KREUZ Co., Ltd., can be applied to various customer equipment environments, including robots and machine tools. Once installed, it can be used in combination with KREUZ’s specialized deburring tools or other commercially available tools.

  • Deburring and Chamfering are done by pressing a cutter or brush.

There will always be errors between the machined product and the drawing dimensions.
Since deburring and chamfering are based on the finished product, it is necessary to take this error into consideration when deburring and chamfering.
To achieve this, we need what Kreuz called the “Floating Mechanism“. We use a holder with a built-in mechanism that allows the cutter to freely follow the shape of the workpiece. Then make a program at a position that is pushed further than the drawing dimensions.

  • Select from three types of profiling directions according to the machining process.

When performing deburring and chamfering processes, the machining positions are not limited to vertical directions; they may also involve horizontal, inclined, or other directions. To meet the demands of multi-directional machining, the FF series offers three types of holders: the omni-directional “A-type (Pendulum)”, the extendable “B-type (Push/Pull)”, and the rotational “TW-type (Twist)”. These options allow you to choose and combine holders according to your specific machining requirements.
