Acme has in-house design and manufacturing capabilities for turnkey systems (including stock handling, in-process gaging, and filtration equipment), with an installed base of systems that spans the globe.
Since 1910, four generations of the Carlson family have lead the Acme team. Founded on machine tool design and evolving into a robotic material finishing provider, Acme’s singular focus has remained the same: Create cost-effective material removal systems and process solutions to meet complex finishing requirements.
As an exporter of machinery since 1950, Acme was recognized for excellence in advancing the United State’s Export Expansion Program in 1991, when the company received the Presidential “E” Award, and again in 2016 the Company was awarded the Presidential “E Star” Award. During the same year
We are committed to being a world class organization providing innovative and cost-effective automation solutions for everyday material removal and surface finishing challenges. Our culture drives unparalleled focus on relationships, safety, quality, technology, and profitability.
At Acme, we expect the best from everyone involved in our process, from our employees to our suppliers. With this expectation, Acme is always innovating and looking for ways to achieve optimum results.
We strive to maximize each customer’s productivity and quality while lowering their production cost. This increases customer profit and ensures Acme’s long-term success.
We take pride in communication as the key to high quality. The Acme Team listens to our customers and communicates thoroughly throughout each process solution to ensure consistency, effectiveness, and genuine quality.
Acme coil grinding systems are used to grind, polish and hairline finish hot and cold-rolled stainless steel coil and sheets. Multiple-head systems are designed to perform top and bottom finishing operations at up to 164 ft. (50m) per minute. Acme has in-house design and manufacturing capabilities for turnkey systems (including stock handling, in-process gaging, and filtration equipment), with an installed base of systems that spans the globe.
Automatic belt tracking and hydraulic/pneumatic belt tensioning ensure optimum consistency and minimized operational costs. The self-cleaning machine base helps eliminate sludge build-up.

Established in 1915 in Fukuoka Japan, Yaskawa is one of the largest producers of robotic arms, controller, servo motor, and frequency controller in the world. Robotic arms have applications in welding, painting, assembly , and handling in every industry which requires automation.
Headquartered in Yamanashi Prefecture, the company boasts the world’s second largest market share in industrial robots and the world’s largest market share in CNC equipment.
The company produces FA-related equipment, servo motors, metal laser cutting machines, industrial robot arms, and CNC equipment. Its main products are vertical multi-axis robot arms for welding, spot welding, and transport.
The M-2000iA, in particular, is the only robot capable of lifting an assembled automobile (2.3 tons) and is used to automate operations at various production sites.
The Acme Polispray 3 is a high/low pressure airless liquid compound spray applicator, designed specifically for finishing operations.
